Amateurs and professionals are welcome to compete. If you play with Fore Real Golf Tour and wish to receive purse payouts, you will be classified as “professional.” If maintaining amateur status is something important to you, please make sure you designate your playing status as “amateur” in the membership registration page.

No. But we require all players to confirm they carry a single digit index or better in order to compete. All events are “scratch” meaning there will be no handicaps involved during play. Adjustments to tees and total yards played will be made based on age and gender. These ranges can be found on the “Requirements”

Yes. We are proud to allow both men and women to compete on the same stage for the same payouts. Tees and total yardage played is laid out in the “Requirements” section of our site.

Gentlemen

  • Ages 21-40 will play tee range of 6401-7300 yards.
  • Ages 41-54 will play tee range of 5900-6400 total yards.
  • Ages 55+ will play tee range of 5000-5899 total yards.

Ladies

  • Ages 21-30 will play tee range of 5900-6400 total yards.
  • Ages 31+ will play tee range of 5000-5899 total yards.

**Tees will be proportionally set. For example: if the Gentleman ages 21-40 tees are maxed out at 7300 yards, then the other tee ranges will be proportionally maxed out at 6400, and 5899 yards respectively to age and gender requirements.

Likewise if the Gentleman ages 21-40 tees are at their minimum yardage of 6401 total yards, then the other tee ranges will also be proportionally set at their minimums of 5900, and 5000 yards respectively.

Yes and no. To participate, players must have a single-digit handicap or better. However, we don’t use the handicap during the actual events, as we play scratch tournaments. Instead, we adjust the total yardage based on age and gender.

Refunds : No refunds will be issued if the event has already been played or if a cancellation request is made with less than 72 hours’ notice prior to the event.

Exchanges : Participants may request to transfer their registration to another event, provided the request is made in writing at least 72 hours before the scheduled event. All exchange requests should be sent to admin@forerealgolftour.com.

Cancellations : A cancellation fee of $150 will apply for any cancellations made LESS THAN 72 hours of the event.

We are all big boys and girls here. Drink responsibly and don’t annoy your playing partners. If an issue arises, FRGT has the right to exclude you from future events without refund. Do your thing, but be respectful of others.

Yes. But be respectful of your playing partners. If it becomes an issue, FRGT has the right to exclude you from future events without refund. Do your thing, but be respectful of others. If any single player requests that your music be turned down or turned off, this request MUST BE GRANTED.

Caddies are allowed but not provided.

Spectators, family, and friends are encouraged to spend time in the clubhouse viewing areas (food and beverage areas, sponsor activation stations) as well as select tee boxes and greens that are in sight of the clubhouse. If a spectator wants to walk, they may do so at their own risk, must remain on the cartpath, and not disrupt play in any form.

All events will be played with a minimum of 20 players and a maximum of 144 players. First prize guarantee for 20 players is $1,300. Maximum field of 144 players guarantees first place to receive $7,000. The top 30% and ties get paid. Rules for tiebreaker apply if the tail end 33% of the field is involved in tiebreaker.

We encourage amateurs to join and gain valuable competitive experience. Unfortunately, due to California Laws, declaring amateur status exempts competitors from receiving cash winnings and the maximum allotted sponsor voucher/gift certificate is capped at $1000. With that said, amateur fees are greatly reduced and we only allow a maximum of 10 amateur competitors per event.
